what is different about them vs. a normal installation? (sorry, I have no reference as to how they are normally installed).

what is different about them vs. a normal installation? (sorry, I have no reference as to how they are normally installed).
The rear ones have to be removed to be adjusted. I guess he figured out a way to adjust them without removing them.

The Koni SPA-1 drag shocks for a third gens are single adjustable and you have to unbolt the lower shock bolt and compress the shock than twist it to change the setting.

I had a set of double adjustable SPA-1 shocks for an old race car with bearings on each end and was going to cut the top bearing off and weld a stud on it. with this the rebound adjustment will be very hard to use. ( see picture )

My cure for this was make a new 4340 shock end.

do the koni sports (yellows) need to be unbolted to be adjusted or is it hust your drag Konis?

Yes and no.
The old style require you to unbolt. he 4th or T-birds are on the top side.

The 3rd gens have to be unbolted. That's why we started in using the T-bird shocks. A little softer and you can adjust them without unbolting them. About mid away thru 4th gen, a new Koni man came on board and started making the Koni's externaly (in car) adjustable.

what do you mean 4th gen camaro? So I should order the rear shocks for a T-bird or a 4th gen Camaro? what year T-bird?
