We're moving to Oregon...
Well, my wife and I finally decided it was time to get out of town(the state). It has been something that we have been thinking of doing for a number of years now. We have sold our house here in Orcutt(Santa Maria) and have bought a house in Bend, Oregon. The town is smaller than Santa Maria, only gets 12 inchs of precip a year(same as here), we already have friends there, and there is an 1/8 th mile strip just thirty miles from town. No more 21/2 hour trips to Famoso. Thats whats up here. To the guys that know me, thanks for all the fun. Ill still stay up to date on the boards. We dont move till Dec. 2nd. Car is running good, Ill have it shipped up there. From what I hear it is a great car enthusiast town. Just time to do something new. Put down some rubber in a new town.
Good luck on the move Jeff. Don't forget to come back to the board from time to time. After meeting Lance (Blue 502) at the 2000 WCG, I've visited the Northwest board from time to time to see what is going on. It looks to me like the Cascade Crew is very active, but they may be quite a ways North of where you are going.

Thanks for all the well wishes. We were tired of the situations and bs at work(we work for the same company), and the over all state of the state. We have been thinking of this for many years and decided to go for it. As some of you know I'm not getting any younger! Do it now or not at all! Also, I am deathly afraid of that bad *** black Iroc just south of me in Lost Almost.
My plans for the winter are a pulley change for more boost. Where I am going is 3300 feet. The track is about 2300 feet. Should be a fun experience. And yes, they do get a little snow in Bend. I will check into some different tires for my wifes Jimmy. I keep telling her that all she will need is a shovel and a couple sand bags but she is not buying it and doesnt think Im funny. The Iroc will sleep in the garage most of the winter. Ill drive my 85 pickup(with shovel and two sand bags).
