HELP! Tranny probs!

Ok for the past week I have been noticing that when my car is warm(been driven once before in the day or has been driving for more than 20mins) accelorating from a stop it takes a second for the car to actually go...the motor isnt hesitating, the RPMs raise as I hit the gas but the car takes about 2-3 seconds to actually go. Its mainly only from a stop but I also noticed that the tranny used to kick into 2nd and 3rd gear(Trans Go shift kit) and could chirp the tires, now just mushy searching shifts.

The tranny was just rebuilt less than 2 years ago and it was supposed to be good up to 400hp, but Im kinda wondering if its the torque converter...it feels like its shifting fine just that the power isnt getting to the rear wheels....

any info? costs? HELP!

Today I went to take my sis to school and stopped at Rite Aid to get some cash and gum and left the car running (been having charging system problems too for the past few weeks ) got back in, went to back out and noticed the RPMs didnt drop down when I put it in reverse...weird, I thought...take my foot off the gas it rolled forward a bit but nothing when I gassed it, as if the brakes were on? tried a few more times...no reverse! Finally called Alex to take my sis to school and I was about to call the tow truck tried it one more time and sure as sh*t it dropped into gear and backed up just fine and went into drive fine! Turned it around, parked, shut it off, and waited for Alex to come back...he showed up about 15 mins later and it went into gear just fine and drove home fine! WTF!?!?!
I had noticed a few days earlier after trying to back into a spot at school(incase I needed another jump start) and the car fought me the whole time as if the breaks were on and it would roll forward a bit everytime it let off the gas...

I dunno WTF is going on...help!

For some reason it's taking more force than it should to get the car moving. If something is messed up in the TC, then you'd get the trouble you're having. Either that or there's not enough fluid getting into the TC. It could maybe be a pump problem. What's the fluid level like in the trans?

In a nutshell, the TC basically works like two fans facing each other. One gets connected to the engine, the other connects to the drive system. The force generated by the first fan (engine side) causes the second fan (drive system side) to spin and gets the car moving. The pitch of the TC fins (or fan blades) determines at what RPM the car will start to move - a.k.a "stall speed".

Don can probably give you better insight as to what the trouble might be.

Low fluid can cause this problem.

Fluid level is fine...checked that as soon as I suspected something(thats how I was blamed for "breaking" our Blazer's tranny)

I told my dad what happend today-so now the car is parked till its fixed So I guess since it will be sitting for quite awhile I'll go drain the fuild and change the filter, make sure theres no metal chunks in it this time

Have you talked to Probuilt about this problem?

If Don thinks it is a clogged filter, change the filter, and see if the problem goes away. Nobody's warranty covers the filter, it is considered a normal maintanence item.
