Anybody know where I can get a headlight motor?

I wanted to see if some one around here had one before I deal with eBay. I have Lonsal's repair kit, so I might be able to fix it, if its slightly working. My drivers side is totally dead.

If you're in Orange County, the Pick a part in Santa Ana would be a good bet.
www.pickapart.com

It's on Beach Blvd... PS if those 2 T/As that are in the back have been released, LET ME KNOW!

Don't frown at the thought of ebay, i'm sure you'll find a dozen headlight motors to bid on. thats the way i'd go.

I might just get to that pick a part, sooner or later, but I won't get my hopes up. I havent been there in a few months. Yep, be there sat, (the cruise right? Not the racing?)

If you don't have good luck at the pick-a-part, call Thomas *** at House of Camaro (800)460-6789.

I found a older type motor at the Picked Apart. They wanted $21. I stashed it where it will last a day or two. I don't know if thats a good deal since it might not work. Ebay's wants like $30 or $40 plus shipping, and up. Guess I'll see what House of Camaro has got.

The older one won't work, but you could try checking out the Fieros since they have the same motor as us, just reverse the sides (their right is our left n vice versa). If you're willing to go to the one in Sun Valley, kinda far drive, but their pick a part is WAY better (the GM section in Sun Valley is about the size of the ENTIRE Santa Ana pickapart)... I scored some great stuff last weekend back home!

1987-88 Fieros are the same as 1987-92 Firebirds.

(There was only one Fiero. I checked.) (the nice TA was still in back) Sun Valley is too far. I mean, with the cost of gas these days, I might as well Ebay. Gee, aren't I a miser. Maybe it will all be an electrical misunderstanding.

Ok, well, uh... It ended up being a bad wire. Thanks Don! I would never have found that in a billion years. And thanks everyone else for helpful suggestions. At least now I know what to look for next time.
