I need some TPI parts; one is the distributor cover, the one that bolts on to the plenum. Also my runners have a thin coat of gray paint so they are a great candidate for polishing but I don’t want a polished TPI, I want a stock appearance. Maybe someone that has an extra set of original runners and had the intent of polishing them will be interested in trading for my runners.
PS: I am also open to other possibilities.

 

Well I just got my runners sandblasted to remove the paint and they look great. So now all I need is the cover for the distributor that goes on the plenum. Anybody have one?

Try doing a search on the TPI board for the GM part number. I dont know if its still available but there is a plastic distributor cover for f-bodies and an aluminum one for Corvettes. Last check they were $25 or so.

 

And in addition to Kevin's suggestion, if you are willing to purchase one you may want to consider Accel's Plenum Extension which is priced at $19.99 on Jegs & $18.95 on Summit Part Number: ACC-140006

 

I took Kevin's advice and did a search, I came across a post with part number and link to GMpartsdirect. So I ordered it there. Total came out to $21.98.

The Accel plenum extension is a partial piece that does not cover the distributor. Its made to fit their distributor.
