Tune-up is done and got some street time on the new combo. I have chip #4 in the car and it's running better with each one. A big thanks to Don and Kevin for all help with good info and a very good baseline chip to start with.

The best run I have seen by the bunny is 12.8X but the rumor is that it has gone 12.6X.

Quite true, the best I have actually seen is a 12.8X same as you probably the same pass at California Speedway. Now the rumor is a 12.6X from C-Bad, but then a 12.3X with all the goodies removed from the car like the interior and sway bar - but then again it is Mike and James :lala:

I think the 12.3x was just B.S. and the 12.635 @ 109.84 by mike might be also. I wonder if he will ever post the time slip for that run... that is if he has it.

Randy will you be at Fontana on the 17th.

Jerry you never cease to amaze me. The time slip in question was posted and available for viewing for months but just for those to lazy to look for it here it is…

Time Slip

Jerry if a craftsman as skilled and determined as yourself cant trap a low 12 second N/A time slip with a set of hogged out 113’s and enough converter to pull a house down then I guess all of the respect and reverence Team Bunny has for both you and your accomplishments will have sadly been misplaced.

Oh and the 12.3X you all jeer? Show me a worthy contender and I will hand back a victim dripping with embarassment.

The last time Kevin raced, Clinton was in office and yahoo was at 400. By the time you both realize your last couple years planning and effort was in vain, Mike and I will be two steps ahead of you again.

I know you're joking. I ordered a custom fuel tank for my truck this week and I should get it in 4-6 weeks. So look for a September date for my new combo...since I have a couple years before my next smog and my truck will be running by September, I have more options now

It is in reference to the following:

Team Bunny

Which is located at the bottom of Mike's signature

What have I done to my 3rd gen. I have put it up for sale along with my truck 98 Dodge Ram and open car trailor with electric brakes. All three for a paltry sum of $22,000 with all spare parts, I am also the original owner of the camaro.

'88 Formula: Installed a gray/black leather Grant steering wheel. Found $2.41 worth of rattles (aka coins) under the center console and under the carpeting below the seats. Replace the broken right tailight and center firebird plastic filler piece. Cleaned the carpeting and washed it for the first time. I cleaned up the new (used) center console I'll be installing. I still need to pull out the radio pod so I can replace it too. Both the radio/HVAC pod and center console had been repaired with ugly drywall screws to solve the common delamination of the foam backed vinyl. I need to make similar repairs to the one I got from House of Camaro, but I'll use epoxy instead. I have a new console top and lid to install too. I need to cut holes for the electric window switches. I've e-mailed JBL about getting a new faceplate for the CD2000 stereo. It was mfg in '99, but it is not listed as a current model, so I'm not holding much hope that a new faceplate will be available. I pulled off one of the inner quarter panel pieces and discovered a Pioneer 6x9 speaker (actually 4 speakers in one) rather than OEM. There was a washer stuck to one of the tweeters which can't help the sound I'm sure. I still have to install the powder-coated sway bars, steering brace and end links. I'm surprised how well it still drives with no front or rear sway bars.

I ordered some new parts. The IE boys are getting too fast for half-*** attempts and now that I know that Vincent is still several tenths off on a good day and just as fast on a bad day....well....time to get to work

Parts doesn't quite narrow it down, James, an LS1 could be parts as well as a NOS Kit Besides Vince doesn't need a bad day to end up reading my REAR license plate all the way down the track...

I heard you beat him pretty bad...knowing vince that's what fueled his fire to 12.8X.

Parts are parts......but in this case they involve a 3.5" hole saw, some bailling wire, a couple gaskets and some compressed gas Besides how fun would it be if I let the cat of the bag so early

Yeah he wasn't pleased, fueled him all the way to end up on top with a 2/3 win ratio against me for the night, to be fair, though I still have my own issues with it slowing down, though taking nothing way from the 12.8x pass.

You might as well let it out of the bad, both you and Mike have hired Jennibella to run the car for guys, saving a bit on weight therefore increasing top MPH

Jenibella can't drive a stick (no disrespect )...that's why all their cars are autos.

Actually I only ordered one part of plan A and have to determine the profile of the other component. Then I still have plan B and plan C to take care of and then install them...forming plan D (all of the above). This painstaking process will result in all the records being broken as well as your hopes, dreams, and will to compete.... and that will become my legacy. You will all bow down before my maxed out plastic and fear the two-tone Bunny with a bad paint job. I'll tell you now but you'll hear me later.....as Kevin once said but could never back up, "you don't want to mess with me as I'll leave a bad taste in your mouth".

Wow, didn't know you were so bitter from Kevin 'backing up' his promise to let you taste his candy cane

BTW - I believe plans (A through D) + Mike P =
