What have you done to your 3rdgen lately 2
Ok let's bring this back.. Considering we are trying to keep every ones information on What is being done with each others Rides.. No need for any secrets right?
A few weeks ago my Transmission started slipping in 3-4 and it went out.. I bought a friends built 700r that was proven to hold a 10 second car.. The trans is great best Trans I have felt..
I picked up a few thing lately also.. I bought Mikes Alum Drive shaft.. Awesome deal.. along with the Global West pan hard, 24lb Accel Injectors.. I finally bought the base for the Vortec heads.. I pretty much have every thing I need to rebuild my 350.. it looks like it is near there.. Awaiting We know who to free up his hands

Where do I start? It started to be a 1985 California IROC, but we found the car too badly damaged and jury rigged around the firewall area to be a good build. I got a 1987 TA lg4 car with non world class t5. Don boxed the lcas & panhard rod. We pulled the fuel tank, and put in the fuel injection pick up and return tube assy. We converted the tbi roller cam 350 from the wrecked 92 RS into a speed density tpi. We swapped in the 350 with a world class t5. Don converted a tbi engine harness to tpi. I installed a Wonder bar from Lon. Don welded in the Alston sfcs, and made up a set of perimeter sfcs from some 2" x 3" x .125 square tubing I bough and welded them in. Don and Kevin burned a custom chip for me. I also installed one of Lon's headlight kits to get my pop up headlights working again. There are probably some other things I'm forgetting.

The list of things I'm hoping to do this summer keeps getting bigger, the longer I wait! So far I hope to have done soon: 4th gen brake upgrade, Wide Mouth Intake (from Mike's) and a steering brace, and get rid of those 225's. Mostly just geting started.
Are you graduating cali92RS? Way to go! That looks hot, JERRYWHO.

Firstly Congrats Cali92, from CSULB class '90, and another Carson derelict!
I have finished delete on AC unit, moved and re-routed AIR stuff to clean up engine bay, welded in subframe connectors (home grown) and lit my carpet on fire in the process bought new wheels, (no tires yet) and am finishing the body work in hopes of getting to the paint work sometime next week.

What's with the stock seats? I figured you'd have some Kirky full race seats or something.

Let's see,
I installed my 1LE front brakes, replaced the rod ends in my rear suspension with nice new Aurora rod ends.
I'm also getting ready to buy my other Sparco seat so I finally have matching front seats and I'm looking at some KYB AGX shocks and struts.

Sold the RS. You can see what the money went towards.... :lala:
Ripped whole interior out of '83. I am taking a body class this summer and will be painting it myself. I will reinstall the interior after it gets painted. Target date is the whole car to be done a year and a half from now.
Ripped the whole interior out of the '82 too minus the drivers seat. I re-upholstered all the seats in my upholstery class and have a roll of carpet and headliner material ready to go. The interior won't be installed untill after it gets its new engine and paint a couple years from now.

Hi Russ!
I am still moving! On my last load right now, that's why I'm back in town!
I am here for two weeks, then there for two weeks, and such, since October last year!
I only had time to do the 20th TTA out there!
No smog on cars where I am, which is great! Heck, the dealers sell car with all the smog stuff torn off!
I haven't had time to work on all my cars yet! I've been busy setting up stuff! I've got lots of shelfs to build, and tons of boxes to unpack still! And that's with 5 storage sheds up and filled!
I have 3 cars in the garage, so I'll have to add on to the garage to fit all 8!
One of the first car projects will be dropping a 455 into my '81 Trans Am!
I am still collecting parts for the '74s and the '70!
We've been too busy wall the things going on out there as well!
PT Cruiser River Run
Corvette River Run
Model "A" River Run
Mopar River Run
Harley Davidson River Run
Route 66 Run thru Kingman
Man, I have never seen so many cars!!!
You guys should come out and visit! heck, plan athird Gen River Run! I'm about 20 minutes away! Our speed limit is 75 mph too!
Later,
George

Team bunny cleaned the 4-yr old virgin air filters, tracked down Vincent, challenged him, and handily beat him in a heads up. Go Team Bunny!!!!!!
Next time I'll replace my special 87-octane chip and fill up with 91-octane along with tires that have some forward bite

My record holds 5 to 1 to Blue Bunny. I spun a little too much out the gates but I was picking them up before we had to get off the gas for safety reasons. Next race I'll be 6 to 1 on team Bunny. They still have fear in the 86 Z28 because they know that I can get them on top end. They can have this one victory.
We shall return in top form without any changes.
