1990 Iroc-z

Selling the ROC for $ 6,300. Here's the info

Make: Chevrolet
Model: CAMARO IROC-Z
Year: 1990 (Final year for International Race Of Champions Z28)
Engine: L98 (5.7L Tuned Port Injection)
245hp & 345 ft lbs torque

Modifications: SLP 1 ¾ stainless steal headers, SLP runners, MSD 6A Ignition, TPIS airfoil, Hypertech 180º fans switch and thermostat, K&N air filters, METCO chrome breather, Billet Specialties 16lbs. radiator cap, Flowmaster 80 series, 3in cutout

Transmission: Stock 700-R4 with transmission cooler.

Interior: Stock seats, Custom IROC-Z floor mats, Custom IROC-Z billet pedals, R.Mc. White-face gauges, Jensen CD/ Cassette, Eclipse speakers.

Exterior: Stock Appearance. RPO code(90A)

Rims: Stock 16x8 IROC-Z. RPO code (N16)

Performance Codes: G92 package- 3.23 axle ratio, disc brakes (J65), Performance exhaust (N10)/dual cats, Engine oil cooler (KC4),
FE3 performance suspension (Koni Adjustable in rear)

You do realise that I.R.O.C. racecars where not production street chassis cars like yours, Don't you?

Also, I do realize that about IROC. It just goes good on its resume

Try cardomain.com for putting your pictures up, if you already have some scanned in. It takes a bit to set up but once you figured it out it's useful.

How many miles are on the '90 Iroc-Z?


CustomX,

When did they discontinue the 9-bolt? Mid-way through the '90MY or near the beginning? Just curious. I didn't know they still had them in '90.

All i know is they discontinued them during part of the model year.

Mine was built in september, and has the 9eq gear set (3.27) in the 9 bolt. But i know of a couple people off the site i co admin (www.iroczone.com) with a 90 and g92 on thier B2l's with 10bolts.

Are 3.27 much better or sligtly better than 3.23's?

The difference between 3.23 & 3.27 is nothing. In terms of strength, I've heard the 9 bolt is much stronger.

very nice find!

sure 9 bolt is stronger but parts for it arnt as easy as opening up your jegs or summit catalogue. pluses and minuses Just was taking a tally of when they switched over, so if you wouldnt mind , could you pm me your build number?
