Don is right
Yup that's right
. Here is the story:
I was driving my truck on the freeway and all the sudden the tranny went into Nutral. I towed the truck home I checked the fluid and it was red. By the way this truck is 97 Silverado 4x4 with 4l60e. I shifted between all the gears and the truck did not move an inch but it make a grinding noise when I shift it in Park.I even checked all the sensor resistance and they were fine. I asked a lot of mechanics here in SD and everyone told me that my tranny went south. Some of said maybe it is TC, oil pump, forword clutch etc..... Well I talked to Don on satrday and he told me that's my transfer case went south and there is no parts in the tranny would kill all the gears exept outputshaft.
So I went home started my truck and put it in Drive and I started shifting the 4x4 and all the sudden big clunck noise and the truck started to move. Yup Don was right :hail: :hail: .
I checked the fluid in the transfer case and it was milky color.
I need to look for another transfer case :lala:
Thank you Don for the help.
