Now thats the kind of event we could do as a club- Get a group party rate? I'm game.
I have not been to that track in a few years, it use to be a little torn up but loooks like they have completely revamped it, new karts also.

One of my older brothers and I are going to try and meet out there in the near future to take a few laps. He's deals in property management and one of his accounts is nearby out there. Next time he is scheduled to be out that way i'll try to meet up with him and check things out then for group rates (and to see if its even worth the trip back.)

We could certainly consider this for a group meeting sometime in the future, provided it is worthwhile. Looks like it blows the doors off of the slick cart track in Carson, which is only marginally fun after the first couple laps.

My friend went there and had the time of his life. He said there was almost nobody there, which could be good or bad, you decide.
And the place is in the middle of nowhere too. It looked good when I drove by it, many twists and turns.

You should also check out Dromo One in Anaheim (By the Pond of Anaheim) Very similar, and a lot closer.

Any one interested in running out there tomorrow afternoon (Sunday)? Arrive and drive racing is from 5-11pm
I need a break from sanding on the Mini. Body work is slow and tiresome- I just try to take it a body panel at a time.

I've been there and it was a lot of fun. Dromo 1 is right across the street from my dad's shop. They charge $20 a race though, which adds up fast.

Even worse, the price is now $25 for evenings and weekends, and $20 during weekdays.
