Poor selection at Ecology PAP today...
Don and I did pick up a few goodies at the Ecology PAP in Wilmington/Lomita. We both snagged a 120 amp large frame alternator. His was easier to get, he just had to point to it and ask if he could take it. The ECOLOGY wrecking crew was hard at work stripping a row of the Caddy's and other GM luxury cars and stacking up the parts. The alternator was sitting in the pile. I had to remove mine myself (like that was all that hard). I was very dissapointed in the selection of Pontiac Fieros & Firebirds. Only one 84-86 Fiero in the corner and one Firebird, fortunately it was a 88-92. I was able to get a headlight control module from it. The plastic screw ***** on top of the headlight motors were missing so I left the motors. I was just hoping to find a lot more. I pulled a 84-86 Fiero drivers-side headlight motor. Then I spent the rest of the morning using my new Goodyear 24v impact gun to pull front and rear sway bar mounting brackets. It sure made the job go easier as I'd hoped it would. My main reason for making the trip the PAP was to collect some more headlight control modules. I'm glad I got one, I was just hoping to find more. I guess I'll need to hit up some more yards.
