Super Ram Intake wanted

So, I'm pretty well convinced I have massive distribution problems with my Miniram at low speeds. Probably going to ditch it in favor of a Super Ram.

Trying to see if anyone in the So Cal area has one to get rid of or knows someone who wants to.

Thanks.

I'm guessing you cant fit a StealthRam under the hood? Perhaps you should go to a single plane EFI manifold?

What Kevin said.

Check out some posts by Jerrywho. He put a Stealth ram on a third gen. As long as you've got room, that Stealth ram can put up some pretty impressive numbers.

For us thirdgen guys, the Super Ram is nice because it is smog legal. You don't have that concern.

How does the Superram stack up against the Stealth Ram?

Also have to consider the rest of my setup. Seems like a Superram would be well suited to my engine combination.

I think 400 hp is possible with a Superram, right? In which case, should be more than enough for my purposes.

We have guys on this board getting close to 400 hp on modified tpi's, 400 on a Super Ram would be easy I would think.

what cam are you running? ZZ4 cam?

With your heads, super ram, and accel 219 cam you will have about 335-350 RWHP and about 390-400 RWTQ. The holley stealth ram would be a simpler installation and probably trade you 10-20 RWHP for 10-20 RWTQ all else being equal. To take advantage of the stealth ram it would be ideal to utilize a bigger cam in the 224-234 intake duration range and should be geared to match.

Very interesting post! Sounds like the Superram did very well in that test. Since the rest of my engine combo probably isn't very good past 6000 rpm, I think the Superram will suit my needs well.

I would go with the Stealth for your application, especially considering you don't have to worry about smog. The Stealth is a lot cheaper to purchase and much easier to wrench on

The prior post makes a good point. A Super Ram has some issues related to installation that can make it a real pain.

With all the modifications you do.. Makes it a lot easier for next time.. Having the correct tools helps things go much easier.. Don't forget to consider the Injector harness modification.. Makes things much easier if you want to pull the engine in a timely matter an complete..
