Rare Opportunity

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH,

I want these body parts and I have been pondering this purchase for a few days now after happening across this EBAY link, But I have other proects going right now on the house and then the Mini project next...

I decided to share this rare opportunity with everyone local in the event that someone else wants to jump onto it. The guys reserve is $300 and the parts are for pickup here in California in Soulsbyville which is just east of San Fancisco.

Get a Uhaul and go

money is not my problem- Time, space, and commitment on other project obligations is. If someone else wanted to bid for it I WILL GLADLY GO IN PARTNERS FOR A FEW PIECES FOR $400 MY SHARE. I want a rear hatch, a hood in decent shape(he has 5 total) and a front splitter (He has 4 total) There is alot there. I would love to do the entire flared fender setup but I built this car for a full time street car andf am not looking to put that much money into it and make it that radical.

Last chance sells pitch- Does anyone realize how lightweight those rear hatches are and just how trick they look on the car. It will look like you got some old TransAm series car. That rear hatch alone hass got to be good for about a 50+ weight reduction even for drag racing. The stock rear glass is heavy.

I just cant make it up there to pick things up, but will pitch in $400 if soomeone else wants to bid and go get everything. You'll need a Uhaul since there is so much stuff in this offer- Its unbelievable what he's offering, check the sales list of whats included.

Those are actual GT1 racecar parts. You obviously do not have any idea what rare things you are looking at, you can not find them in a junk yard.

They are not made anymore. Those front nose pieces and the hood and flares to go with are very rare and are not like stock factory componants.

37mins left. I have to pass since I do not have the time to get up there to pick them up nor do I have the space to store all the parts I do not want (package deal- he wants it all gone in one batch) I know I will regret this in the future for not getting it but I just can't swing the time and I just don't want him to ship me everything that I don't need in redondancy and the $600+ bill in crating and shipping.

My friend I will say this very politely You have no idea what you are looking at.

This is a picture link of a 3rd gen with the newer style GT-1 bodywork. Most of the EBAY kit is the old style kit with some of this new style parts also.

I know what I am looking at parts that were worth something at one time now they look like they need repairs. And as far as a rare opportunity I would not want my daily driver to look like a nascar I have to many problems with the cops as it is.

Well, it would be nice if it was possible to swap the hatch.. But guess this is different.. Need the pieces to get it all to match up? if they had a Fiberglass Hatch with the 3rdgen Hatch that be cool.. You create what Jerry has done to the rear section for weight savings.. Now the hatch were talking just a swapper.. So were not judging appearance.. You have fiberglass front fenders and hood, and you create Jerry's idea on the front end weight savings.. Then what's the lightest Trans.. The G-force wc-t5? Then you decide if you want to lose more with things known to do.. Then you have a pretty light car, esp if you get the front window done..
