1. Something tells me that there are much better ways for GM to spend money for the Camaro then pay Ice carvers to spend 250 hours chopping away in the blistering cold. Not that the sculpture isnt impressive.
I'd love to watch it melt.

2. Put it in the sun and it'll do 0 to 60 (Celsius degrees) in 3.6 seconds.
Quite a performance!
Alright, go ahead with actually funny comments

5. Wow that SO makes me want to buy... oh wait no it doesn't. This proves GM is just wasting money, maybe someone promised them that come spring it will be a "liquid" asset.

6. Great. Toyota's putting it's people on projects like cutting the cost of Camry engines 50% (autoblog, 2/16?) and Chevy's building ice sculptures. F-in' terrific. I love my country and want to support the home team but come on...

7. Is this GM's way of hinting that they're going to put the introduction of the new Camaro on ice??

8. Now, was this really necessary?

9. WOW. You people really are jaded. So they spent some to get an ice sculpture made. JEEZ. Just that expense won't end the company. ANYTHING to bash GM. Any comments on the uniqueness or the skill which went into making that?

10. Sorry Sid I kinda agree with the previous comments. Does GM deserve the pedestal they are placing themselves on.. No. Yes the scupture is nice but who can appreciate it at a time when their cars are pretty weak and they've spent the last few weeks teasing the public with the Camaro Concept. I think GM have folks who love GM but are disappointed and frustrated that they are simply not delivering. Dont be to harsh wihthe guys and girls here coz we all want to see something good finally emerge from the production factory doors. This is just another Camaro Concept publicity stunt which is now giving true GM fans a bitterly cold taste in our mouths.

12. Nick...I understand what your point is. But the thing is, when I pay $20 CAD to get into the Auto Show, I expect flash and entertainment. Which I did get this time at the Toronto Auto Show. It was awesome.
There are far more important issues killing GM than an ice sculpture. Maybe you American folks should invest in a free health care system and take some load off GM?

13. Sid I have no issue with GM having a sculpture erected in the name of "Camaro Concept".
I like the Glitz and Glamour in a Autoshow too.
I am also used to the cold.
I'm from the UK.
What I have a problem with is the attitude that GM have. I guess if that changed their "important issues" would no longer be an issue.

If the new camaro is painted black and the top "grill" is made to look like the Knight rider "sensor" thing, then i could see buying it :P
i still would buy it if i had the cash, just because its a camaro, and has a bad a** engine.
