A new company in the LA area is working on Carbon Fiber parts for muscle cars. If we show that there enough interest and provide a hood/vehicle for fitting an mold purposes the chances for production carbonfiber parts look like a real possibility,

Heres some pictures and links to more information

First gen spoiler.

And a few of his replies concerning over makes and models

Have you tried to fit the hood on your car yet? Usually they don't fit great without a lot of tweaking and smoothing. We would need to use your car or another Chevelle to use as a fitting model before we make a mold of it. What ever you make a mold from, that is what you get, so garbage in, garbage out. Give me a call on our toll free number to discuss further. 888 723-8882
Thanks!
Like I'm telling other people who want to donate a hood (or any other part for that matter), if it's for a car that has a market, I will give the first production part to the donater free for donating the part. There are some stipulations. The hood needs to be fitted to the car perfectly and block sanded like it was ready for paint. So, if anyone is serious out there, let's talk. You can PM me or call our toll free number during the week: 888 723-8882

Re: Carbon Fiber Parts.

I don't think any carbon fiber stuff would look good on a 3rdgen Camaro. Even considering a Hood, it would look odd. Same with any Gfx's parts or any spoiler parts would look odd. Interior is the best Bet.

Re: Carbon Fiber Parts.

I would be interested from a weight savings standpoint. I assume they can be painted.
