Code 32?
Code 32?
On the way back from Christmas dinner, my ses light came on. Every time I stopped, it went off, but after driving a few miles, it would come back on again. By the time I got home the car sounded like I had straight pipes on it. I finally had time to jack it up and crawl under today and to pull the code(s). The bolts mounting the intermediate pipe to the cat had fallen out accounting for the noise. I've got that fixed. I pulled a code #32. I think that is egr, but my books are packed away. If I look long enough I can find them, but am wondering if anyone here could confirm that code 32 is the egr code?

Re: Code 32?
Yes it is 32, not enough back pressure.
Re: Code 32?
Maybe I fixed it then. I suspect bolts falling out of the connection between the cat and the intermediate pipe would cause a BIG drop in back pressure. By the way, my fuses were all ok. I noticed that one 20 amp fuse is marked brake/haz. I presume that fuse is for the brake lights and 4 way flashers. he fuse was ok, and the 4 ways work, so I assume I have a bad brake light switch. I ordered a new one at Kragen, it is $11.00. I was surprised at the price. It is nicve to get a price of $11.00 when you expect to pay $20-$30.
