Best ETs

What techniques do you guys use to get your best ETs?

Those with manual transmissions, do you powershift? Can a T-5 handle that abuse? I know T-56s are much tougher.

Power shifting is ok with a T-5 if you are in the 13-14 sec. area.
Not if you have 12-13 sec. power.
I can't power shift my T-56.

Re: Best ETs

No the T5 cant handle that abuse for long. Mine had a few problems when I was running 13's or slower. Once I hit 12's then I sheared all the teeth off third gear.

I dont power-shift. I let off the gas, push in the clutch, and shift gears all at the same time, as fast as I can.
