Are you a fan of the TPI engine? April 17th meeting
Don, Lon, and I have started a new group for the discussion, reseach, development, and advancement of the Tuned Port Injection engine. It is called the Southern California Tuned Port Injection Organization.
We are seeking friendly, performance-oriented people who have TPI engines in their vehicles. This group will be open to all vehicles with TPI engines, including Camaros, Trans Ams, Corvettes, and all others who have converted. Mini Rams, Super Rams, Stealth Rams, and the like are considered TPI and will be included.
We have a website but its not ready to go yet. The address will be http://www.socaltpi.org/
Our kickoff meeting will be Saturday April 17th at 6pm in the city of Orange.
Spiro's Cafe
513 E Chapman Ave
Orange, CA 92866
Its at the corner of Chapman and Shaffer near the Orange Circle.
We plan to discuss the "siamesed runner" mods and "super ported" TPI intake mods that have been developed recently, as well as lay out a strategy for promoting TPI, including events and cruises.
If you're a fun, friendly person and have a strong interest in seeing the TPI engine promoted instead of considered "dead," please let me know here and show up to our kickoff meeting on the 17th. We'll see you there.

I'm in - especially if my car is still in your care, in which case I'll bring KITT to show off my fresh TPI swap.

Looks like it will be a nice turnout. I wish I did not have to miss it because of already committed plans. I will definitely make the next one.

Son of a motherless goat!!
I'm not sure how I missed this thread, but this is my first time seeing it. I was half way through reading the posts before it dawned on me that I had already missed the meeting.
I have questions about Ca. smog laws, the siamesed runners and the intake manifold mods. I doubt I would have been able to add much to the conversation, but I would still liked to have been there.

We covered a lot of ground in what we have done with TPI intakes over the last few years thanks to inviduals such as Jerry and Don. We established our goals and plans for events, including the L.A. Invasion coming up in May and maybe another dyno day to get ready for drag racing. We were not able to nail done a specific timetable for meets, but our next one will be Saturday June 12th at 6pm, at the same place in Orange. Plans include a breakdown of how badly we beat up the LS1's at L.A. Invasion
and our first cruise to Idylwild.
Thank you again to all attendees!
