BMR STB Q's > > >

I was going to order the 2-pt BMR Strut Tower Brace from Thunder Racing but I wanted to ask you guys if it's any good. It seemed too cheap to be true, only $99. It looks kinda iffy but you can't beat the price! I wanted the Hotckis STB but I'm kinda running out of money

Sorry, I don't know about the STB's, but when I get one it's gonna be 3 point. What I'm wonderin is, weren't you gonna keep your car totally stock? Or do you have another car you're puttin this on?

P.S. If it goes on your '92 GTA, it'd look KILLER painted the same color as the car

It is going on my 92 GTA because it just bolts right on and is very easily removed for show, that's why I'm not getting a 3-pt. I plan on getting a black one because I don't want to spend extra money to paint match it if no one is ever going to see it. As far as I'm concerned it's just to help retain the structual integrity of the car. I do plan on getting weld-in SFC's and that will be a fairly permanent mod but in my view it will only help to preserve the car.....

It's a good STB. It took me around an hour to put it on. make sure its centered. I got it when BMR had their 4th Gen. on group sale, they sold it for $120.

Oh no, did you have to drill holes to install it on the strut towers???? It looks like you did have to or is that just because it's a 3-pt??

I better go with Hotckis then because they told me that thiers used the 2 bolts that holds the mount for the top of the strut tower. I don't want to drill ANY holes in my car.......

I'm pretty sure all the STB's for our car need you to drill holes... that's why I was wondering why you were wanting one...

I called Hotckis directly and asked because I thought the same thing until someone told me that they have one and they said that yes, I would not need to drill any holes....
