3th gen wheels on a 3rd gen

Hey guys, wondering if i can use a pair of 1999 Z28 rims on my 3rd gen IROC, they are the 16'' style.....please tell me that i don't need 200 dollar wheel spacers from Vette Brakes, thats almost as much as i spent for the rims themselves. And if i do need spacers know of any cheaper ones......How about possibly making them myself????? Any Ideas?????

Should have checked before you bought. You need adapters. They have too much difference in backspace to just use a spacer--the lugs aren't long enough. The adapter bolts to the car then the wheel bolts to the adapter. If you have a machine shop, the materials, and knowledge on the subject you could make some.
