Positive Feedback for Steve Spohn

I did not know where to put this so I figured here is a good place to start. I recently purchased Steve's Adj. Panhard rod, Adj. LCA's, and his LCA re-location brackets. After some research I concluded I did not need the LCA re-location brackets. When I wanted to return them I noticed it said on the reciept there was a 20% re-stocking fee. I looked for a mention of this all over Steve's web site I could not fine one. I emailed them about returning the the brackets and they said they would not waive the re-stocking fee. After a few more emails Steve stepped up to plate and apologized for the mis-understanding and said he would return the full purchase price of the brackets. I sent them to him 2 day mail and he emailed me upon their arrival, 4 days later I had my refund check. I praise and admire Steve for his professionalism during this and look forward to buying some of his tubular SFC's. Keep up the good work Steve!

Thats cool. I'm ready to invest in a set of SFC's now. Does anyone have an idea when Spohn's new tubular design will be ready?

The LCA brackets are, by far, the biggest improvement you can make to the traction of one of these cars. IMHO you returned the wrong thing: until you get up to above 300 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels, the other parts are fine. But the LCA brackets will help any car.

I agree, Steve is a good businsessman, he made the right call there. Sometimes the coins in things like restocking fees aren't worth a PO'd customer. Sort of a case of pushing dollars out of the way to pick up dimes.

Buy the brackets back. The other things will do practically nothing to your car, but those would make a huge difference.

Post your 60' times before and after installation of the other parts. I'd bet they'll make less than .05 sec difference; I'd also bet the brackets would shave .2 sec off.

I haven't checked into when he'll start making them again, but I'm just gonna wait. I want his setup on my car and I'll wait to get it. Last I "heard" was sometime around the end of May or early June. Have to call him I guess.
