Annoying noise from lower shock mount

I finally found where the noise is coming from, it's the lower shock mount nut and bolt but I have tried tightening it with air compressor but its still loose, is this something I can get from a dealer or can I just get any nut and bolt from a hardware store?

if at all possible go to a local junkyard and take the proper tools for removal and get one from there. there's lots of strut bolts in thirdgen's over here. it should be the same where your at. if not go to the dealer and purchase the bolt & nut. i would not use a cheap hardware store bolt. those bolts are a higher grade steel than most hardware stores stock. good luck.

Did you back up the bolt? If you just try to tighten the nut with an impact gun, the nut/bolt will actually spin in the lower shock bushing. The back of the nut (even though it's smooth, and you can't use a socket on it) has two parallel cuts on it- just perfect for an adjustable wrench to grab onto. Try holding the bolt with the adjustable wrench while tightening the nut as normal- before buying a new bolt. And yeah, I think those bolts are grade 8 (standard) or 10.9 (metric).
