lowering front this weekend..anything specialto tell when getting alignment??

lowering front this weekend..anything specialto tell when getting alignment??

going to lower the front of my car this weekend.. is there anything when i take it to get aligned to tell the person doing it?? do i have to tell them its lowered or anything or any special specs?? thanks

I good alignment tech will see it's lowered and give you the option of some better specs(that's what I always did). Tell them you want:
-.5 degree camber left and right
4.5 degrees caster left
5.0 degrees caster right
+ 1/16 inch toe

If they can't get both sides to -.5 degree camber, have them both set the same. For instance, if they can only get the left camber to -.3, have them put both sides at -.3--being equal is important.

Caster should have the .5 less on the left side to compensate for the crown on the road.
