Where to get stock replacement springs?

Alright, I was thinking about lowering my car but I'm starting to want a completely stock appearance now. I have an '87 Z28. I'm thinking I want some IROC springs or something... better performance but no lowering. I'm pretty sure Moog makes stock replacements, but I can't find them anywhere on the net. Does anyone know where maybe I can get some part numbers? Or can I just go into a pep boys or someplace like that and order them there? And what springs should I go with? '90 IROC springs? '92 Z28 springs? Or is there no difference? And I don't want to get any used springs, I want brand new ones that don't have all these miles on them. Also, does anyone know a price on them? Thanks.

there was no 87 z28s only irocz if you have a z28/iroc you already have what you want. if you have a camaro with pnly z28 badges you don't have a real one, check the rpos. at any rate you can buy replacements springs about anywhere that sells parts, have you tried calling around your area and asking on avaiability and pricing

Um, yeah there was an '87 Z28. I checked my VIN and RPO codes a long time ago and they say Z28. Check the tech data here https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/techdb.shtml there is an '87 Z28, they were 52,863 of the total production run of 137,760. The normal Z28 wasn't available in 88-90.

If you goto a generic auto store you will get standard replacement springs (read: crap). Moog makes all sorts of springs and they will be able to help you pick the right springs. If you look here: http://www.geocities.com/rgades/Sping.html?985231546900 you will find the list of codes and part numbers. As you can see, only 2 springs are left that you can order. I went with the 14029399. It is a very stiff spring and now my car handles like a dream.
