Can I install SFC's?
I want a set of SFC's on my car and I am wondering if I could do it myself. I have access to both styles of welders; mig and tig, right? Which one of these will I have to use to do this? I have heard you can't use jackstands for this because the chassis needs to be normally loaded when you weld them on, is this true? Has anyone pulled this off in their garage before? Or do I need to pay someone to do it that has a lift?

I just installed Jegster bolt-on "frame ties" (SFCs) yesterday. Had all wheels sitting on 2x6 wood ramps so car was level with weight on wheels. Took 2.5 hours to install both rails. I'll run them with the bolts for awhile, then have them welded on, too.
I should have pictures of the install on my website by the end of today.
