I'm looking for pictures of the Spohn Torque Arm for a Camaro with a 700R4 tranny. His web site doesn't have a picture of it. I would also like to see it installed and how low it sits.
Very nice Tom. Do you have a close up of the crossmember?
This pic is for showing how I had to cut out a notch to clear my sfc. It is a funny angle but you might get the idea:

Here is a better view of the cross member, but with a T-5 now attached to it.

Thanks.
What's the black rubber bumpy looking thing at the front covering up?

That's where the torque arm slides in and out of the cross member. It is lubed and the rubber boot is a dust cover.
I didn't know that, thanks Tom. You've been a source of good info. I can't wait to get mine.

john, i could be wrong but i dont think the poly end will be the same as i just put mine on and it has more of a double swivel point and no boot as the one in the pic.

I ordered the rod end TA, not the poly Pete.
I don't know if it will be the same as the one pictured, he said it was a 1st design long ago.
I have Hotchkis SFC's, I'll let you guys know if it clears or I have to trim the crossmember.

Good pics - I need to get a digital camera.
I installed mine (Spohn torque arm) about 4 months ago and it's a slightly different setup. The front mount is a Heim joint attached to a pivoting arm joined by a poly bushing to the trans cross-member.
I find that this setup with about -1.5 degrees of pinion angle really launches the car. My first to second shifts are very hard with very little wheelspin. I also have the lower control arms, the setup is very stable.
