Guldstrand adjustable Panhard Rod.. any good

Its only $99. and when i ordered my sway bar bushings from them, they recomended a new adjustable Panhard Rod... and said theirs is very good, that they were one of the first companies to make them.. Are they any good, cause thats a good price, or is Spohn or Ground Control or someone else better??

Have you measured how the rear end is centered in the car? Measure from the rim of the tire to the fender lip on both sides and compare. When lowering the car with springs it may shift the rear end to the drivers side. An adjustable PHB corrects for this and allows you to re-center the rear end. There is no performance advantage of an adjustable vs. a non-adjustable. Does this help? Lon

Hmmm...in a way you will gain slight hp right? i mean if the drive shaft is at an angle you would loose like 1hp O_o hahaha...but yea I'd say youd have atleast soem performance gains if you correct the position of the rear. Also if hte rear end is more on one side. The otehr side would handle different woulndt it?

The panhard rod will not offer a meaningful correction
to pinion angle

A not unreasonable improvement can be expected by
firm, fresh bushings and a reduced tendency to flex.
In the event that it is lighter, a reduction in unsprung
weight is a good thing.

what about the difference in handling between a stock one and aftermarket?? does it make that much of a difference??

also, is the Guldstrand any better or worse then Spohn or Ground Control?? or are they pretty much all the same as long as they aren't the crap stamped stock ones?

They are all pretty much the same. Gulstands are actually made by someone else, He just puts his name on it. This is common for lots of vendors. Spohn makes his own.
