Best suspension ever?

I am in the process of rebuilding the front suspension on my 89 Formula WS6. I need to know the best route to take here. I don't do alot of road racing but I enjoy spirited driving and the occasional slalom coarse. I think one of my A arms maybe bent from an accident prior to my purchasing the car. So I will most likely replace them with either stock or tubular pieces. I have about $400 to spend here. I'm replacing: A arms, Ball joints, all bushings, and end links.
I need to know who makes the best of these and where to get them. Especially the tubular arms. How many people make them and where to get em? Actual experience testimony is highly appreciated.

Want steak on a pizza budget.

Thanx, Tom

If $400 is all you have to spend scratch the tubular arms off the list and go to the salvage yard and get a stock replacment. As for ball joints, idler arm, pitman arm, and center link, settle for nothing less than Moog parts. They are a little more pricey but they will last you forever. Replace you A-arm bushing, endlinks, and swaybar bushings with polyuertane peices from energy suspension. Also don't forget to replace the Tie rods, chances are the will need it, again go for the Moog parts.

Moog is probably the way I'll go. I'm trying to stay clearof the junk yard cause I don't know how good those control arms are. Are 4th gen "A" arms interchangeable? The tubular control arms are only $350. That's with in budget.
Who would be better between PST and Energy and Hotchkis suspension companies???
I keep breaking endlinks too. What's up?

If you have $400 to spend on just control arms them get the tubular. I thought you meant you only had $400 to spend on the entire rebuild. Check out this place for tubular control arms.

I do only have $400 to spend. If I get the tubular control arms all I would need after that is end links and sway bar bushings.
I will probably just rebuild what I have. I don't really need the performance of tubular but it would be nice. Plus they don't look all that stout.

What about ball joints, idler arm, pitman arm, center link and tie rods. Chances are all this stuff has never been replaced and is well over due for it.

Well, ball joints come with the tubular arms and I won't need steering for awhile it checks out ok so far. I replaced it about 5 years ago. But it's ok.
