92 is tighest built of 3rd gens

I read in the new Hot Rod magazine.. it said that the 1992 camaro was the best built and tighest of the 3rd gen camaros. Is this true ? Did it mean by best suspension ? And how are they diffrent from the earlier built camaros ?

Wondering,
Dan

They used some kind of structural adhesives when assembling the chassis. It cut down on squeaks and rattles.

They are a little tighter than the previous years, but not structurely stronger.

They used glue in every year. Ever pull op the carpet. Gunk every where. No wonder they're so heavy. They used new and improved glue in '92. Probably a test for '93 model year.

Definitely better adhesives than the earlier 3gen models. Less problems with T-tops leaking too.

And they certainly are the tightest "looking" 3gens that were built.

nomatter what glue GM uses, ours cars will always have rattles. I tighten almost every single bolt and screw on my 91z28 and it was rattle free for about a month. now it sounds and feels like every other 3rd gen out there

yeah probably because you are running alot of things on your car that did not come stock. you have alot more power than what the originals where made for.

i believe that subframe connectors really help with rattles, squeaks, and twisting.

also strut tower braces work good in combination with the "wonderbar".
