car pools to the left when braking..

After i replaced my control arm bushings, i drove the car and noticed that during hard braking or semi hard braking the car would pull to the left, enough so that i can just turn my left turn signal on, hit the brakes and change lanes in a few seconds. Im guessing that this means either my right side isn't working properly or my left side is working too much. How can i figure out wuts going on? should i just take the calipers off and reclean everything and maybe bleed the brakes? i never actualy opened the lines, but i did use a c-clamp on the drivers side i think to push the piston back in the bore, but i didn't need to do that on the passenger side. Both calipers are only about 6 months old, the pads are about the same..

Try replacing the rubber brake hoses. My car developed a bad pull to one side and that cured it.When they get old they swell with the pressure and you don`t get an even clamp on both rotors.

A pull could be caused by one of many things, worn brakes, tires, bad alignment could all be the cause. Since you said it didn't happen until you changed the bushings, i believe that the car is out of alignment. Suspension systems geometry is very complex. Any time you do any suspension work, it's a good idea to get an alignment. This would be my first step. Good luck.

i got an alignment AND new tires about a week after i put the new bushings on.. both the tires and the alignment were the reason i got the new bushings...

Well then it could be that something isn't back together perfectly. Something like a spring that isn't seated in the perch correctly. Something about that one side of the car just isn't right. I'd take it back apart and check everything. Good luck

okay, what I would guess it to be w/o driving it and I'll try to explain before I tell you what I believe it is:
okay, when you step on the brakes it pulls, left, then have you noticed as to whether or not it actually pulls back to the right after you release the pedal?, it usually not all that noticeable untill you start watching/paying attention to it, if this is the case:
replace the passenger side brake hose it is collapsing internally, I would parsonally buy a set of earl's (or anyone else's for that matter) steel braided brake lines.
just my .02
