Pro-kit + Tremec = potential catastrophy
Pro-kit + Tremec = potential catastrophy
I have an 84 with the eibach pro kit installed, and a Tremec TKO
the problem is that the eibach's seem to be lower than other springs and they are rather soft ( i wanted a good ride ). Living in NY and having a very steep driveway, I have whacked the alluminum protrusion that sticks out from the bottom of the Tremec. Also in order to mount the tremec you have to shim the Crossmember down so this compounds the problem. Now since the suspension has settled i can barely get out of my driveway, when i do there are alluminum streaked concrete chips left behind. I need to find some kind of a shim for the front and maybe the rear springs. does anybody make a shim kit of somekind that sits over the top of the spring. i suppose i could get new rear isolators to correct the rear but does anybody know about the front????
