question about wheels

does anyone know if 15x8 Weld Pro Stars will fit on a 86 trans am?

They will fit just fine. But if you call weld they can tell you if they have the correct "backspacing".

They have 5.5 backspacing, and the tires on them are 275/50/15 nittos. For $530 is it a good deal? BTW, they have never been used and are mounted and balanced already.

5 1/2" backspacing is a lot. I have Weld imitation 5 stars with 5 1/4" backspace with Nitto 275/50/15 Drag Radials. If I corner hard while jumping on the gas they rub just a touch. With 5 1/2" backspacing you will probably need to run spacers.
