Brake Booster Pushrod Help Needed!

I'm in the process of installing the power brake booster. Anyway, I'm just about to hook up the pushrod to the brake pedal. I noticed when comparing the old unit to the new one, that the new unit's pushrod is an inch shorter.

The way it looks, is there's no way to adjust the frickin thing! No adjuster on the master cylinder side, spinning the pushrod won't lengthen or shorten it. So Any help at all on info how to lenghten this is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
