Brake upgrade

I'm going to POSI!!!!!!!! I'm getting a 99 rear and was curious if anyone had done the switch to LE1? I'm going to install steel brake lines and wanted to know if anyone had any advise for me when I start this project. My lines are colapsing, and I was wanting to make the comversion over to steel. Anybody have some info that might be usufully? Thanks alot anything would be helpful.

"The"switch to LE1? Will you be doing the LE front brake upgrade at the same time?

As far as the rear conversion goes. Is the '99 rear "disc brakes"? If so, I don't believe the parking brake cables will connect properly.

Which brake lines will you be converting to steel? Front, rear, both?

Thanx,ANDYZ28

After reading my post I noticed that it didn't make sense at all. I'm changing the rear brakes. I mean to say LS1, not LE1. I was told that the E-brake might give me some problems. I'm putting steel lines on both the front and rear. So if anyone has any info on changing to steel lines lemme know. Thanks

I don't know what to tell you about the E-brake cable. On my CD I have included pictures of the two different 3rdgen E-brake cable attachment systems, and the 4thgen system. They are completely different. http://www.3rdgensolutions.com/1leupdate.html

The installation of stainless steel brake hoses (I guess that's what you are referring to) is a very strainght forward process.

Thanx,ANDYZ28
