there is a complete 01SS rear for sale here and they are asking $650. I think thats kinda steep for a 10bolt rear. Or do you think other wise? I was thinking a used rear to be in the 200-350 range. so what do you guys think? any info to justify an offer of 300?

 

sounds high to me, but i don't live where you do and as they say location is everything. around here i'd say 300 to 400 since it's so new, other wise i'd figure around 200 to 300. call some junk yards in your area to get an idea on the price.

I'd expect the price to be a little more on the islands. Price here in the Carolinas are around $250-350 depending on the rear, ratio, calipers, etc.

I just got a 4th gen rear from Speed Automotive. I spent 250 for it. Their down in Tenn. Took me 8 hours to drive there from Indy. I also was quoted at 550 for a rear here close to home, but SA had a few to chose from and they were a lot cheaper. Check on Ebay and see what you can find. Go to speedautomotive.com to see what they've got too.

 

got my rear from a junkyard for $300 (93 Z28 rear w/ posi 3.23 and disc)

-rotors
-pads
-e-brake cables
