Venting rear housing

Venting rear housing
Was browsing through Moser Eng. site about the Chevy 12 bolt housing, and they say theirs need to be "vented". 1/4" hole in housing with plastic tube run up frame. Putting in 8 3/4" 12 bolt with 4.56 gears. Do I need to make this mod on housing. Doesnt seem to have a place for a "vent tube"?
