what backspace for 15x6 and 15x8. need to order!
The time has come to order some wheels for my girlfriends firebird and we are decided on the weld rodlights.
She dosnt like the draglights and I have prostars on my mustang so she's not allowed to get those. hehe.
we want to go with a 15x8 rim in the back and from doing a search I think I came up with 4.5bs. Is this correct?
Should we go with a 15x10 instead with I would think a 5.5bs? Not sure what kind of tire choices this would limit us to based on proper width for not rubbing and needing something pretty short as well because we will only be running a 3.42 gear.
Now the more important part.
All thats available is 3.5bs for a 15x6, so will this work?
what other combinations of widths and backspacing works up front with weld style rims?
also, what size (width) spacers are needed to run 4th gen wheels on these cars. I picked up a set at a swap meet and will likely sell them and want to know if this is the right application for them.
Thanks

I have Weld Pro Stars 15x8 with 4.5in backspacing and they fit very well. 15x6 with 3.5in backspacing should work fine for the front. Click on the link to my website if you want to see how the rims look on my car.
I'm not sure if 15x10 rims would rub or not but I think it would be close.
