I bought the bolt in kind. Are they worth it, or should i switch to Jegs SFCs. they seemed a little steep at 245, and i am pissed that i will ahve to weld them anyways to have them work right.

I have the bolt in Comp. Eng. ones in and I think they work great. I changed the piece from the sill to the center member to a flat piece of metal. You can now bolt them in to the floor. I didnt find the need to do that. They would be easy to weld in if you want. Good thing about the way I did them is that there is no loss of ground clearance and they dont interfere with the exhaust.

It is not possible to make bolt-in ones work right. There's way too much stress and movement there, sooner or later the bolt holes will elongate. Do not bother trying to find ones that will work by just bolting in, they don't exist.
If you get "bolt-in" ones from anyone, bolt them in, then go get them welded. Consider the bolt-in function as merely a convenience for the DIYer as a prep to welding.
