different sized rims

different sized rims

this might sound like a newbie question, but i am a newbie. anyways, is it possible to put different sized rims on a car. for example, 17's in back, 15's in front? would there be any problems? i figured that this is the best spot for this question.

I have for sale (2) 93 corvette 17"x8.5" rims. they are the sawblade type that were on the corvette until 96. pretty decent condition. $250.
