My 1982 Trans Am has been giving me some greif! My Ignition switch went on me and all the other lovley things in the steering column seem to follow shortly after. I have found the problem and have a whole new steerign column lined up but it is for an 86. Will this steering column work in my car? It has all the same options as mine does.

Any help would be much appreciated.
