fender gap

i have about 3" of fender gap on the back of my car with 16" 91-92 z28 rims wrapped in 255/50 tires. the car has about 120k miles on stock z28 springs. are they sagging? i bottom out on the smallest of bumps in the road and if i take a turn and hit the gas (fish tailing around a corner for instance) the tire scrapes in the rear. but even with just mild throttle in a hard turn the tire rubs. would getting the Eibach prokit fix this? how much fender gap would i lose?

Your springs are probably worn, but it sounds like you need shocks first. If it's that loose and bouncy, that's what I'd expect.

well thats what i suspected too. so i replaced them with some monroe shocks and it helped alot, but it still bounces around a whole hell of alot. im hoping the prokit will solve this. ive been using your website to inspire me to start my suspension rebuild. i dont have class on monday so im going to try and find a parts shop that sells the prokit and some new struts. what else should i replace to really tighten everything up?

If money's tight, the Hotchkis sport springs are $20 cheaper than Eibachs at Jeg's.
