Adjustable panhard rod?? How do you adjust??
I just bought LCA's, Adjustable Panhard rod, shocks, poly trans mount and poly torque arm bushing. I have them all installed and everything and was wondering what is the easiest way to center up the rear end because mine is about 2 inches to the left side and my 17 x 11's will not go on with it like that. I tried taking the panhard rod off and pushing the rear end over but that did no good it would just come back after I let it go and I could only push it about 1/2". NEED HELP
Since you have the adjustable panhard bar, you should be able to screw the end-links in or out to make the rod shorter or longer as needed. If I recall correctly, the panhard bar is connected to the left side of the frame and the right side of the axle housing (but I may have this reversed). If it is connected to the right end of the axle housing, then adjusting the panhard bar ends to make it longer will move your rear end to the right. If I've got it backwards, and it's connected to the left end of the axle housing, then adjust the panhard bar to make it shorter to move the rear end to the right. Regardless, you should be able to tell from looking at it that adjusting the length of the panhard bar will move your rear end left to right (as a simple matter of geometry). I hope this helps!

Alright I understand what you told me so far but I dont have enough muscle to push the rear end over to make it centered. I got about 2 1/2" on one side and 3/4" on the other side and I cant push the rear end over enough after I screw the end of the panhard bar in where it needs to be. I was wondering what everybody else done or if there was some trick to it. THANKS!!
I know I wasnt clear on the first post. Sorry

if he has the lakewood panhard rod, it only adjusts on one end. you have to take it off and turn the end then reinstall it. a pain. i had someone push the car while i put the bolt back in.

Yea I have the Lakewood panhard rod. I wish it had the links on both ends then it would be like adjusting tie rods. Thanks again.

Well believe it or not I thought up a simple way to do it. I just backed my car to the opening of my garage, put it on jackstands got a 2x4 and the jack out of my car and put the 2x4 over my rim and jacked against the side of my garage. talk about simple, hope that helps somebody who cant find anybody to help them.

Yea I tried that but it was like the control arms had it in a bind and wouldnt let it move. After I loosened them and pushed it over with the jack it went smoothly. I even had the shocks loose when I tried the first time.
I am glad all that is over with.
