I Need a SFC installer

Hey Guys,

I am preparing to order a set of Spohn SFC's. I just do not know where I should get them installed. Does anyone know of a good place in either the Nashville, or Knoxville area? I would really appreciate all the feedback I can get.

That is good advise, Steve seems to always know the answers to stuff like that

if for some reason he doesn't... there are a couple of things you want to make sure of when to look at shops to get them installed.

make sure they have a drive on lift, meaning the car is lifted BY ITS WHEELS, the SFC's need to be installed with the suspension loaded.

also find out what they are going to do about the carpet in your car, if they just try to weld them on, it will meld/burn your carpet, make sure it is clear who is dealing with the carpet (be it removing it, or if they are going to put a 2x4 under it while the weld, ect)

you don't have to work for NASA to weld in a set of SFCs. just need to keep the car loaded and replicate the way it sits. a drive on lift would make it childs play.

Thanks for the information

I appreciate all the information I am receiving.

I have already contacted Steve Spohn, and he said the only shop he knew of in my area is in Alabamma. I was hoping to find someone who is in the Eastern or Middle Tennessee area, that has done the installation.

If I find a place that can do the installation, would you suggest that I roll up the carpet around the doors etc. How would you all suggest I handle the carpet situation?

when i had mine put on, i just pulled the seats, and slid a 2x4 under the carpert above where the welding was taking place, to keep the heat from contacting the carpet.

a descent shop should know how to do that, just ask about the carpet when you call.
