Are my WS6 brakes different than rs brakes?

I am about get some new brakes for the front of my '89 Formula w/ front disks and rear drums. The salespersons at autozone and napa ask me if my car has performance brakes or non-performance brakes. Is my WS-6 Formula different than other firebirds & Camaros. Are mine performance or not?
Thanks, Ben

Well it depends probably not if you have the 1LE RPO in the center console you have the performance brakes, if not you have normal brakes. I would guess you have normal since you have drums on the rear. Look at the old pads, the 1le has 2 circle clips on the back of the pad, one for each piston. non performance brakes do not.

You have non-performance brakes.

The "performance" option in all the auto parts books refer to the 1LE package which you definitely don't have with drums in the rear.
