I finally got around to changing the center rear brake line on my 1992 B4C/1LE that came with the Earls kit and I am glad I did, this chaffing is caused by the E-brake cable rubbing on the brake line over time. You guys might want to check yours, because this would have worn through and caused a rear brake failure.
Your right I was thinking of that when I put the Earls in, now the Earls is made better than the E brake cable. I tie wraped the E brake cable out of the way the best I could, but that is a big stiff cable!.

My parking brake cable was completely worn through when I bought my car. Definitely something you should check every once in a while. Oh yeah, rear brake line (drums) was broke off too when I got it, good idea to check it also.
