How's it coming with that STB for the L69 dual snorkel air filter cars with A/C? I will probably be ordering some Sub Frame connectors this winter, and would like to get the STB at the same time. THANKS!!

Read the product page, it fully explains it. You're not "adjusting" anything on the car, you're applying pre-loaded tension.

STB's are still in R&D. The carb version will be the first one done. No date at this time.

I wish I had the money to buy this stuff! My B-day is coming up, perhaps a set of SFC's are in the future, along with a wonderbar. That would be nice. ^_^

Then again, I do have to replace my tires.

The 82's have the mounting holes positioned differently. Lon at Top Down Solutions is revising his wonder bar so it will fit. http://www.top-downsolutions.com

Question for Steve: When the STB's become available, will they be 2-point? 3-point? both? (or will they be like Lon's 5-point brace?? ) Thanks! -Jerry.

Yes, the SFCs aren't anywhere near the torque arm.

Haven't seen the article and was never contacted by them. I'm not a paying advertiser in their rag so I guess I'm fair game. Oh well, there's an old saying thay any press is good press

To be honest I have no idea, haven't seen it. All I heard was they talked crap on something with us and the 1LE parts. I guess I'll have to try to find the issue, I'm sure it's complete BS. Then I can tell their salesman who keeps contacting me that I'd like to talk to the editor about this situation.

Feb. 2003 Super Chevy
Starts on page 101, last paragraph.
Basically, it says they ordered a caliper carrier bracket(left) with Spohn Performance and it was supposed to be delivered in October (2002) but it was not delivered, and they had not heard from Spohn about it. So they ordered from SSBC instead because of their deadline.

Like boby47 said. By the way, Steve and al., the 1LE brake kit is first rate. I should have mine in within a couple weeks.
