I have a few questions I have been thinking about concerning suspension and handles. My car is a 85 TA T5 with a built 350. Great power, no traction. Unfourtuantly I'm broke, fortuantly I work in a metal shop.
So question 1 is can you use stock LCA's with relocation brackets?
Question 2 is do people ever bolt the STB to the struts themselves? if not why?
Question 3 is do people ever make the Panhard Brace NOT bar out of tube or something better than it is?
Question 4 is there anything else to do for free, assuming you have a welder and lots o' scrap, to the chassis or anywhere for strength and handles?

yes you can use stock control arms with the relocation brackets..
you can just do something called "boxing", which consist of welding a layer of metal on the open end of the control arms and panhard bar...

you can also make SFC's (see the post lower down the page by Chevymad). you could even do like he did, and make your own panhard bar , he basicly cut the bushing off, and welded the tube to that, then pressed in new ES Poly bushings.
as for bolting the STB to the strut inself ( i am not sure if you mean to the actualy SHAFT on the strut or not), but if you mean the shaft , i dont think that would be a good idea.
