Vert SFC's
Hey guys I just noticed that Spohn finally has SFC's out for the vert but I had a couple questions. Are the Spohn's worth it compared to some of other ones out there that are available for vert usage. And also would it be recommended to get SFC's done before catback/headers and stuff? I plan on doing full exhaust but not until next summer, I was hoping to do SFC's this christmas if its not going to make the installation of the exhaust any harder. Thanks guys

i would do SFC's BEFORE exaust, just so when you do install the exaust you can make sure it clears properly. also especialy on a very SFC's are a must do mod.
as for spohn, i have yet to see the tubulars in person, but i do have the square tube, and his are good quality.

There are only 2 manufacturers that make SFC's for convertibles: Alston and now Spohn. Other maunfacturers may claim that their SFC's fit convertibles, but all (other than Alston and Spohn, to my knowledge) require cutting and/or modification to make them fit correctly, if at all. IMO, if it requires modification, it wasn't made for the application.
I would definitely make SFC's the FIRST upgrade to a 3rd gen. before anything else, suspension or drivetrain.

ok, i was just waiting for the spohn SFC's to come out, and i was planning on having my exhaust done by then but plans haven't worked out as i had hoped. I'd obviously rather get SFCs first since i can't afford both right now but wanted to make sure that the exhaust wouldn't be any harder to put on AFTER SFC's were in place. ok guys thanks for helping me make my decision, can't wait to try the new ones out
