shaking around 65

around 65 and up my car starts to shake. would it be cause my rims may be a lil bent or what else would it be?

Tires out of balance. You may have lost some weights.

i just got two new front tires and they got balanced. i think the two front rims may be bent from hitting a curb a long time ago,but im not sure,im not 2 worried about it because im getting new rims eventually

If they balance the tires they balance the rims along with them and they wound not shake. If the rims are bent, then the tires are not balanced.

I'd do these 2 things:

1. Have the tires balanced and the rims checked for an out of round condition;

2. Get an aluminum driveshaft from an LS1 car, get the big 3" one. That (and new u-joints) took care of my shimmy in my RS. Check Ebay for them, there's always 3 or 4 on there.

sounds like the rims/tires and/or the driveshaft might need some balancing help..

These guys are right. A shking in the your car apparent at 65 and not earlier is a balance/rim problem. When you got your tires on and your wheels balanced they should have told you if your rims were bent. I had worked in tires from 16yrs to 20 years. It is very easy to see a bend. Go back to tire place and complain
