what to look out for with spacers?
what are somethings to look out for when purchasing spacers or adapters?
i plan to get spacers to fit my wheels. i know i should get the kind that bolt on rather than slip on....but beyond that i'm a little clueless?
is there a certain type of metal i should look for over another. i know the common sites to check but i'd like to hear from enthusiasts rather than someone trying to make a buck!

i was also curious. I was told that if you use the spacers for like 4th gen wheels, that there would be extra strain and would cause the bearings to wear quicker. this true?
well the only problem i'm finding is what to do with the studs.
if you get aircraft aluminum and use the bolt on kind it's as strong as stock; but it's the studs that i'm worried about now.
obviously i wouldn't trust it at the track with a ton of horsepower, but for the street there should be nor problem if you can figure out how to get good studs. it's just expensive.

If you are afraid of the the spacers being weak. then swap to a 4th gen rear end. and you won't have to run spacers in the rear. then you would only ahve to have spacers in the front. I dont see why the track would get **** about that.
